In a joint initiative, the NAJ, the IRV and Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office came together on the 14th of January 2020 at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London, to discuss the very many facets of hallmarking.
As part of our dedication to becoming a centre of excellence for jewellery materials we will be holding a major international conference on 8 and 9 July 2019, at Goldsmiths' Hall.

Make Your Mark, the UK’s leading career development and networking event for emerging designers, apprentices and students of jewellery and allied trades, returns February 2019.
The Modern Buffet Plate was commissioned in 2014 to showcase the work of the contemporary makers at Company Dinners in the Livery Hall. It will be shown at Make Your Mark on February 5th.

This long-established seminar is an informal event attended by those who want to find out more about the Assay Office and the hallmarking process.
On 31st October and 1st November, London’s Goldsmiths’ Hall will host the UK’s biggest careers event for apprentices and students of jewellery and allied trades. Following the huge success of the events in 2014, 2015, 2016 the event will deliver even more inspiration, advice and networking opportunities.
