Joanna Hardy and Neil Carson helped to grind the date letters from 86 punches which remained from the total 655 created in 2018 and bore the corresponding date letter "t".

Verdict of the Trail of the Pyx
The Queen’s Remembrancer, Barbara Fontaine, today announced that the Chancellor has passed the annual Trial of the Pyx – one of Britain's oldest judicial processes – which tests the quality weight, composition and diameter of the coins people carry in their pockets or collect as commemorative coins.
